SUMMARY:

Leads a  team of Production Recruiters. Responsible for high-volume production recruitment.  Overseeing and ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of the Application Tracking System and hiring records.  Responsible for the proper selection of applicants for placement into appropriate manufacturing positions.  Working with Operations to ensure candidate selections best meet operational needs and employee success in a high turnover environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of all new production personnel. 

- Develop and implement diverse sourcing and recruiting strategies to achieve a weekly intake of 50 or more new hires. 

- Demonstrate expertise in and utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (internal) and online recruitment platforms (such as LinkedIn) for proactive candidate sourcing. 

- Plan, organize, and coordinate various career fair events, including local fairs for skilled and unskilled workers, college campus recruitment, military and veteran-focused job fairs, pop-up recruitment events, and similar initiatives. 

- Possess the ability to travel to multiple recruitment site locations as required. 

- Assist with the weekly rehire process to ensure consistency and efficiency. 

- Employ sourcing methodologies to pre-screen applicants, assessing their suitability for the production team, and understand the background check procedures, ensuring timely follow-up with candidates. 

- Train and guide team members on effectively communicating Triumph’s employment value proposition, emphasizing the company's history, strategic direction, partnerships, benefits, culture, and growth opportunities, to attract qualified candidates. 

- Ensure team members assist others throughout the application and onboarding processes. 

- Serve as the primary liaison with key departments, personnel, the local plant, and community contacts regarding recruitment activities. 

- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment that involves conducting a high volume of interviews daily. 

- Develop and utilize retention strategies to address challenges, enhance employee experience, and promote continuous improvement within Triumph. 

- Perform other related duties as assigned that are incidental to the primary responsibilities. 

- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

- Maintain the confidentiality of all applicant information as well as sensitive departmental data related to recruiting and Human Resources.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

Bachelor’s degree; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Possess the skill set to communicate with others within and outside of the Company effectively—the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of candidates.  Bilingual skills are preferred (Spanish or Burmese).

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language, such as safety files, handbooks, and collective bargaining agreements.  Must effectively communicate with applicants, production, and management personnel.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems.  Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry, including Microsoft Office, and learn and effectively use any other programs that are or will be made available, including the ATS in the HRIS system.  Must be proficient at sourcing online recruitment databases (e.g., LinkedIn).
