Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
- Experience with General Ledger accounting is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare vendor invoices and complete invoice packages within two business days.
- Coordinate, prepare, and verify supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and general ledger recording.
- Enter and process vendor invoices in the accounting software.
- Serve as a liaison between MERS/Missouri Goodwill and vendors to resolve invoice and payment-related questions.
- Complete general ledger maintenance and assist with month-end close processes.
- Conduct monthly accounts payable aging reviews in collaboration with the Accounting Supervisor.
- Ensure that all agency policies and procedures are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
