Maintenance Technician

Location: St. Louis, MO

Schedule: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift

Pay: $40.62–$43.12/hour depending on shift

Work Setting: Onsite

A well-established manufacturing company in St. Louis is looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join its team across all three shifts. This is a hands-on opportunity for a technician with strong electrical, mechanical, and controls experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running.


Shift Options

1st Shift: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday + $2.00/hour differential

3rd Shift: 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday + $2.50/hour differential

Overtime is available based on business needs and is typically scheduled on weekends.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system issues
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and ladder logic
  • Work with Allen-Bradley controls, sensors, servos, relays, switches, and other automation components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and circuit drawings
  • Troubleshoot PC-based controls, networks, I/O, and operating systems
  • Perform advanced CNC diagnostics involving servos, controllers, and encoders
  • Build, wire, program, and troubleshoot control panels and systems
  • Perform electrical wiring, soldering, and connector/harness work
  • Complete general mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility repairs
  • Perform welding and brazing for equipment repairs
  • Support equipment including punch presses, tube benders, automated welding centers, swedgers, and other manufacturing machinery
  • Help identify root causes of equipment issues and minimize production downtime
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and related costs


What We're Looking For

  • Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, controls, and industrial automation
  • Associate degree or technical education in electronics, industrial technology, PC technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Candidates without a degree may be considered with 5+ years of controls experience


Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, facility maintenance, forklifts, and industrial equipment is a plus.
