Inquiry Seminar TA

About the role

• Assist professor with classroom work, grading, and other duties as assigned to help with Inquiry Seminar courses.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Bethel student
• Must be able to work semi-independently and complete assigned tasks without direct supervision.
• Able to communicate well with others
• Responsible and dependable
• Preferred: have taken the course they will be assisting with or have sufficient knowledge of the course material based on prior experience in the department. Referral from professor preferred.

Work Environment:

Flexible work environment: library, dorm room, professor's office, other study space.

Physical Demands:

Primarily a sedentary position, working with a computer, printers, may be asked to participate in or facilitate activities in class sessions.

Expected Hours of Work:

4 hours a week (or less)

pay rate: $14.25/hour
