Bridge Specialty Group is seeking anĀ Accounts Payable AssociateĀ to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, FL.āÆāÆĀ
To perform accounting job duties on a timely basis. To verify accuracy of accounts by performing the following duties.Ā
How You Will Contribute:āÆāÆĀ
āÆResponsible for Account Current, Bordereaux, and/or Item Basis reports and reconciliation.Ā
Responsible for Account Current, Bordereaux, and/or Item Basis Carrier payables.Ā
Assists with premium corrections and day-to-day accounting issues with underwriting teams.Ā
Assists with reconciling and clearing Surplus Lines Tax payments for various states.Ā
Corresponds with carriers regarding balances & works with Carriers and/or underwriting teams to resolve issues and reconcile discrepancies.Ā
Corresponds with carriers to ensure return premium funds are collected timely and recorded appropriately.Ā
Responsible for reviewing and resolving outstanding checks aged 90 days or greater.Ā
Cross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations or any other absences.Ā

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: āÆĀ
RequiredĀ
Minimum education or prior job experience ā High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one ā three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ā
Proficient with MS OfficeĀ
Exceptional telephone demeanorĀ
Ability to maintaina high level of confidentiality.Ā
