About The Position | Major Goals and Objectives and Location Requirements:

The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and analyzing paid media campaigns across search, social, and emerging digital platforms. This role partners with internal teams and clients to drive campaign performance, achieve business objectives, and deliver measurable results through ongoing optimization and data-driven decision-making.

Hybrid 3x a week- (Stamford) 

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

About The Team | The Team and/or Brand:

D/Cipher is People Inc.’s in-house media platform and activation team, fueled by the rich user engagement data of People Inc., the nation’s largest publisher.  D/Cipher helps advertisers make informed media buying decisions on and off People Inc. content. 

About The Position’s Contributions: Weight % Accountabilities, Actions, and Expected Measurable Results

  • 50%: Manage day-to-day paid search and paid social campaigns across multiple platforms.

  • 25%: Build, launch, monitor, and continuously optimize social and search campaigns to maximize efficiency, engagement, and conversion performance.

  • 15%:  Perform quality control of creative assets and ad tags.

  • 5%: Manage bids, budgets, keywords, ad copy, reporting, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • 5%: Develop recommendations and strategies to meet client goals and RFP requirements.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in paid search and/or paid social media.
 

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Experience running paid ads on Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other paid media platforms.  

  • Familiarity with tracking implementation, conversion pixels, UTM parameters, tag management, and basic HTML troubleshooting.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience using platform reporting tools and campaign performance dashboards.

  • Understanding of digital media KPIs like impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, CPA, ROAS, video completion rate, and engagement rate

  • Preferred qualifications include certifications in leading advertising and analytics platforms, such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.

Pay Range

Salary: Connecticut: $60,000.00 - $63,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
