History:

Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years, but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20, and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital. 

Summary of Responsibilities:

To be successful as a Nutrition Aide, The Aide must be detail-oriented, well-groomed, act professionally and must be a team player who works well with others.- The Aide consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company's Purpose, Vision, Values, and Mission. Ability to follow directions, follow time schedules. Maintains a clean and safe environment. Has a general knowledge and understanding of Nutritional Diets. Has a general knowledge and understanding of how to run a register and perform general cleaning to all areas of the kitchen.

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.     

Licenses/Certificates:

• Must have a Serv Safe Food Handlers Certification prior or within 30 days of hire.     

Experience:

• At least Six (6) Months as a Cashier. Bilingual a plus, not required.
