Job DetailsJob Location: FLA-DHQ CAMP Keystone - Starke, FL 32091Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or MoreEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDSalary Range: $15.00 - $16.50 HourlyJob Category: RecreationSCHEDULE/HOURS: Part-time, up to 29 hours/week, some Saturdays and evenings may be required for special events.   This position is responsible for: Cleans, sets up, and services conference space and guest activity areas; serves as host for guest groups; maintains excellent interpersonal skills and professional and cheerful customer service communications.    Key Responsibilities:   Ensures set ups are completed for conference areas; sets up and operates AV / sound / lighting; ensures all light bulbs are in working order; replaces light bulbs as necessary.   Participates in the facility housekeeping to ensure meeting and activity areas are properly cleaned and maintained; cleans public restrooms and replenishes supplies; empties trash cans regularly in meeting rooms and public areas; performs floor care and floor maintenance.   May open and/or close buildings as scheduled at beginning and conclusion of events.   With direction from the Guest Services Manager, serves as host for groups; coordinates and oversees the provision of all group needs whether big or small; acts as the face of the organization to ensure that all groups are fully satisfied with their experience; coordinates activities with multiple groups.   Assists with recreational activities as needed.   Works evenings and weekends on a consistent basis.   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:   Ability to meet attendance requirements.   Ability to lead potential users in tours of the camp facilities.   Ability to drive a golf cart.   Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.   Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.   Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.   Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.   Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting.  Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.   Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (more than 50 lbs.) frequently.   Work may be performed in an office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like but not limited to the office environment.  Work may require driving a vehicle and working outdoors with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.   Employee Benefits:   Optional Supplemental Insurance   Paid Time Of   Optional Retirement Savings Plan WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU High School diploma or G.E.D., AND   Two years’ experience in camping ministry and/or hospitality related industry including experience leading the work of others, OR   Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.   Licenses & Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License required with the ability to meet Salvation Army driving requirements for insurance purposes and remain qualified to drive a Salvation Army vehicle throughout the course of employment in this position.     Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled
