Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment nationwide The Transportation Officer is responsible for: Providing transportation for clients to and from the facility and employment in the community. Conducting visual inspections of vehicles at the beginning of each shift documenting any issues or concerns using the Spectrum Daily Vehicle Inspection Checklist. Logging all trips and mileage keeping an accurate accounting of each trip, individuals present in the vehicle, purpose of transportation, beginning and ending mileage, the date and time of day. Bringing vehicles for routine maintenance and service and directed by the Program Director. Addressing program participant issues, concerns, and inappropriate behaviors promptly while providing transportation. Reporting traffic violations, parking tickets, accidents, and any other issue to the Program Director immediately. Completing assigned driver safety training within 30 days of employment. Serving as role-model/mentor for offenders while maintaining professional boundaries. Reporting infractions of work release program rules, issues at work and other behavioral issues to the Program Director immediately as identified. QualificationsQualifications: Must have a clean driving record and have the ability to drive for long periods of time. Knowledge of the geographic area surrounding the facility and previous experience providing transportation as part of employment is a plus. Experience working within a correctional or secure environment is a plus.
