Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and collaborative Administrative Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the administrative department and plays a vital role in supporting the overall effectiveness of the organization.


The ideal candidate will possess strong financial and accounting skills, be proactive, detail-oriented, with strong technical problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


This is a full-time position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing and maintaining financial records 
  • Assist with budget development 
  • Oversee and perform full accounting cycle: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, audit, financial reporting, and presentation
  • Coordinate with external financial auditors
  • Oversee and complete payroll processing: ensure compliance with changing tax laws and regulations
  • Manage, organize, and execute all human resource functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, EEO regulations, and applicable employment laws
  • Maintain and administer the human resource information system (HRIS)
  • Lead Recruitment, onboarding, and training for new employee
  • Process employee terminations, benefits programs, and COBRA
  • Collaborate with IT contractor to maintain secure and reliable technology
  • Maintain company phone network
  • Manage the operations of the Administrative Services department in support of organizational programs.
  • Implement and improve office procedures and for maximum efficiency.
  • Organizationally plan and coordinate policies and procedures within the department as related to other departments.
  • Participate in corporate planning
  • Other duties as assigned


Pay and Benefits

  • This is a full-time position
  • Full salary range for this position is $38.46 - $48.07 per hour (allows for professional growth over time)

Hours of work typically run Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm. However, it is important note that flexibility for evening and/or weekend work may be necessary on occasion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR administration, employee relations, benefits administration, and accounting experience including payroll processing, GL, AP, AR required
  • Prior staff management or supervisory experience
  •  Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate tactfully and maintain strict confidentiality when interacting with the public, staff, and clients
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of office best practices and administrative procedures.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, including maintaining a professional appearance and a courteous, respectful attitude toward the public and colleague
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Human Resources certification is a plus
