Mortgage Processor

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. As a Mortgage Processor, you will support the mortgage lending process by coordinating documentation, communicating with members and third parties, and ensuring loans move efficiently from application to closing.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Mortgage Originators to prepare and process mortgage loan files.
- Gather, review, and verify required documentation from members and third parties.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members, realtors, title companies, appraisers, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process.
- Manage disclosures, redisclosures, and rate locks within required timelines.
- Schedule loan closings and prepare final loan documentation.
- Ensure mortgage files meet regulatory, investor, and credit union requirements.
- Process disbursements and maintain insurance tracking documentation.
- Perform quality control reviews and prepare completed files for archiving.
- Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three years of mortgage processing, lending, financial services, or related experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers, email, office software, and mortgage processing systems.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
