What You'll Do
As a Home Health Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), you will:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting dignity and independence
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and light rehabilitation support as directed by the clinical team
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
- Educate caregivers on safe care techniques
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Home Health, hospice, caregiver, or senior care experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
