SSPT ASSEMBLY- 2ND SHIFT

What you need:
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment· Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and communicating effectively with co-workers.· Reliability· Dependability· Ability to work in anon-climate control environment.

JOB PURPOSE: To work together in a Team Environment and ensure all insulation products are packaged correctly and meet all customers’ requirements and specifications according to written and verbal instructions.
Essential Job Functions:
1. To convert our EPDM product to our Stay-Seal product.
2. Must use packaging skills and knowledge to ensure quality product is being packaged.
3. Must have visual observation and manual dexterity when packaging product into cardboard boxes and make sure that all product being packaged is labeled, stamped, and taped properly.
4. Must have a high degree of mental competence to make decisions quickly and react to problems when they occur.
5. Verbally communicates with supervisor and other associates to maintain an efficient process flow. Also, verbally communicate with our Quality Control department to prevent and correct quality related issues.
6. Uses a high degree of attention and concentration to inspecting the quality and consistency of the Insulation Product while packaging.
7. Must have reading, writing and basic math skills to document all information to insure that the product is packaged correctly to meet customer specifications according to written and verbal instructions.
8. Must have visual observation, manual dexterity and a high degree of attention when converting our EPDM product to our SSPT product.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
2. Reports equipment problems and safety hazards to Supervisor.
3. Ability to get along with co-workers and be a team player
4. Other job duties may be assigned.
5. Use PPE for safety as required by OSHA Standards.
