Joining our team means becoming part of an organization dedicated to quality, continuous improvement, and making a meaningful impact—one smile at a time.  Position Summary The Midwest Dental Arts Chairside Digital Records and Sales Representative is a unique position that will combine Surgical/Dental Assistant Experience with Sales experience. This role will require heavy travel as you visit clinics within the state of Iowa as well as the surrounding states. As an employee of MDA you will assist partnering clinics with chairside needs while also bringing in additional clients and selling our Lab services. In this role you must have a high level of enthusiasm, strong base of dental knowledge, ability to communicate with doctors and business owners at a high level, be able to perform the tasks of a Surgical Assistant (including scanning, and other imaging tasks) and be comfortable in a role that will have you traveling to various locations throughout the week. Key Responsibilities Maintain, present, promote, and sell dental prosthetics products to current and prospective customers. Collaborate strategically with key industry leaders to drive joint initiatives. Perform dental chairside assistant tasks including scanning, imaging, and other tasks as needed. Develop and sustain strong, trust‑based business relationships with dental practices and decision‑makers. Actively pursue company‑provided leads and generate new business through B2B cold calling and prospecting. Identify customer needs and collaborate with the laboratory team to resolve issues, complaints, and case concerns efficiently. Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics. Coordinate sales efforts with internal team members and cross‑functional departments to ensure seamless customer transitions and high satisfaction levels. Accurately document sales activities, pipelines, customer needs, opportunities, and challenges using CRM and case management software. Stay current on product offerings, market trends, and industry developments through ongoing training and feedback as well as representing the company at study clubs, trade shows, events and continuing education programs. Continuously refine sales strategies to improve performance and customer outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements Previous B2B sales experience within the dental industry preferred, but not required. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a competitive environment. Previous experience in a Dental lab or Dental Clinic as a Surgical Assistant or high level Dental Assistant. Highly motivated, self‑driven, and results‑oriented with strong accountability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Proven efficiency in territory planning and time management. Ability to deliver customized sales presentations tailored to individual customer needs.
