We are looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware & Hardware Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing embedded electronic devices from concept to production.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across both firmware development and hardware bring-up. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and validating embedded systems while collaborating closely with hardware and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++

  • Develop low-level drivers, communication protocols and application logic

  • Bring-up and debug embedded hardware prototypes

  • Design and review electronic schematics

  • Debug hardware using laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter)

  • Implement and optimize communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB and Modbus

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation

  • Collaborate with hardware engineers throughout the entire product lifecycle

  • Support products from concept through production and maintenance

Must Have

  • 4+ years of experience developing embedded systems (firmware + hardware)

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills in embedded environments

  • Experience with bare-metal and/or RTOS development

  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as:

    • STM32

    • ESP32

    • NXP

    • Nordic (nRF)

    • or equivalent

  • Experience with communication protocols:

    • UART

    • SPI

    • I2C

    • CAN

    • Modbus

    • USB

  • Ability to read and create electronic schematics

  • Experience with hardware debugging tools:

    • Oscilloscope

    • Logic Analyzer

    • Multimeter

    • Laboratory Power Supply

  • Experience with JTAG/SWD debugging
