Cool Times Heating and Cooling is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Quality Control Manager (QCM) to take full ownership of on-site execution for our HVAC project work plans. You will oversee equipment logistics, supervise subcontractors to guarantee work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high standards, and maintain direct communication with the company owner and General Contractor (GC) teams. If you are an accountable leader ready to drive project success in a fast-growing HVAC contracting environment, we encourage you to apply

Subcontractor Scheduling & Supervision:
- Build 2-week look-ahead schedules aligned with GC timelines, clearly direct on-site subcontractor tasks, and enforce strict quality, workmanship, and schedule accountability
Change Orders & Mid-Project Bidding:
- Identify field scope changes in real time, capture required documentation and photos, coordinate change orders with GCs, and obtain mid-project subcontractor pricing (e.g., core drilling, lifts, cranes)
Field Reporting & Communication:
- Deliver daily status and progress reports with photos to the owner, participate in periodic GC and internal team meetings, and log roadblocks, rework, and completion data for billing accuracy
Compliance & Close-Out:
- Oversee on-site compliance paperwork (including Section 3, prevailing wage, and toolbox talks) and support final project close-out documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- Prior experience in construction field coordination, supervision, or superintendent roles
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and architectural drawings
- Strong field leadership, organizational, and look-ahead scheduling skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Preferred:
- 5+ years of HVAC installation experience
- Experience working directly with commercial general contractors
- Familiarity with Procore (or similar PM software), change order administration, and Section 3 / prevailing wage compliance (willingness to learn on the job is welcome)
