What You’ll Lead Reporting to the VP of Operations, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, and Project Engineering. You will: Establish and execute an engineering strategy that supports growth, operational excellence, and customer commitments. Lead engineering programs from concept and development through production, sustainment, and end-of-life. Optimize NPI, production readiness, tooling strategies, manufacturability, and engineering processes. Connect Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development to improve execution across the operation. Drive engineering capacity, resource planning, program cost and risk evaluation, and capital and tooling decisions. Establish meaningful KPIs and use them to identify bottlenecks, improve performance, and create greater efficiency. Provide visible leadership when engineering challenges affect quality, cost, delivery, customers, or compliance. What You Bring Experience in plastics engineering, preferably within aerospace manufacturing. Demonstrated success leading complex engineering or manufacturing programs across the full product lifecycle. Strong knowledge of injection molding, tooling, manufacturability, process development, and cost modeling. Experience with ERP/MRP systems; IQMS experience preferred. Advanced proficiency with CATIA and SolidWorks. Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements. Strong project planning, resource allocation, risk-management, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
