HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the overall operational, financial, and administrative management of residency clinics at TMH, to include the Family Medicine Residency Clinic and Internal Medicine Residency Clinic, and their related sites/units overseeing care of vulnerable populations in the region such as the Anderson-Brickler Midwifery service, including rural obstetrics (OB) clinics and the OB Emergency Department (OB ED), as well as the TMH Transitions of Care Center, the substance use disorders clinic, and the street medicine program.
- The Director provides leadership and direct oversight for financial management, personnel administration, clinic operations, regulatory compliance, policy development, and strategic planning to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and support the educational mission of the residency programs.
- Working in partnership with the Residency Program Directors and Clinic Medical Directors, this role is responsible for implementing the strategic vision, goals, and objectives of the clinical sites.
- Serves as the operational leader for the practices and develops, executes, and monitors action plans that advance clinical, educational, financial, and patient experience outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, nursing, or a related field.
Preferred Education:
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA), business administration (MBA), public health (MPH), or a related field.
Required Experience:Â
- 5 years of progressive healthcare management experience in a physician practice, ambulatory care, clinic operations, or healthcare administration setting.
- 3 years of Leadership experience with direct management and budgetary responsibility.
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-program healthcare operations across ambulatory, inpatient, emergency, and community-based settings.
- Experience in an academic medical center, teaching hospital, or residency training environment.
- Â Knowledge of graduate medical education (GME) programs and accreditation requirements.
