Position Purpose
The Capture Manager is a strategic member of Endurion's Growth organization responsible for leading assigned capture efforts that maximize the company's probability of winning strategic federal business opportunities.
Working under the direction of the Vice President of Capture, the Capture Manager develops and executes capture strategies by integrating customer understanding, competitive positioning, solution development, and cross-functional business capabilities into executable business solutions that support Endurion's long-term growth objectives.
The Capture Manager serves as the strategic integrator for assigned pursuits, ensuring customer needs, operational capabilities, pricing, staffing, proposal planning, and transition considerations mature together throughout the capture lifecycle.
Strategic Responsibilities
The Capture Manager is responsible for:
- Leading assigned capture efforts from opportunity qualification through contract award.
- Developing and executing capture strategies aligned with Endurion's growth objectives and customer priorities.
- Integrating customer understanding, competitive intelligence, solution development, pricing, operations, recruiting, contracts, proposal planning, and transition considerations into cohesive pursuit strategies.
- Building and maintaining strong customer and industry relationships that improve Endurion's competitive position.
- Assessing pursuit health, identifying business risks, and providing recommendations to Capture Leadership regarding pursuit strategy, investment priorities, and capture readiness.
- Collaborating across the Growth organization to ensure solutions mature into executable, competitive, and financially sound proposals.
- Supporting continuous improvement of capture processes through disciplined execution, organizational learning, and sharing of best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience supporting federal business development and capture management within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian marketplace.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic competitive pursuits from opportunity identification through contract award.
- Experience leading cross-functional pursuit teams in a collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, structured capture methodologies, competitive procurement, and proposal development.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus without direct supervisory authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, National Security, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting USSOCOM, the Intelligence Community, Cyber, Digital Modernization, C5ISR, or National Security programs.
- Experience supporting large, complex competitive pursuits within mature federal contractors.
- Experience working in high-growth or private equity-backed organizations.
- Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret preferred; Top Secret/SCI desirable).

- Proposal and transition readiness at solicitation release.
- Quality of capture planning, executive decision support, and pursuit governance.
- Successful contract awards and contribution to Endurion's profitable growth.
