The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth West Division

• AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for providing comprehensive analytical support to the regional pharmacy team. This position delivers timely analyses, reviews data for accuracy and anomalies, keeps data updated, and monitors workflow to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Additionally, this role displays technical competency working from various data sources and summarizes data succinctly for decision-making. In addition, this position requires knowledge of pharmacy workflow and operations to maintain a big picture perspective of Pharmacy Diversion Rules and Regulations. Ultimately, this role supports the furtherance of organizational goals and objectives through effective data management and analysis.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

  • Develops compliance dashboard for each facility. 

  • Demonstrates planning and communication of topics, identifying stakeholders and dependencies to ensure effective meetings. 

  • Ensures follow-up tasks from meetings are completed. 

  • Works independently on projects, gathering information, providing feedback, and determining the best formats for delivering the final product. 

  • Responsible for the completion of all assigned monthly analyses and provides support to end users in the use of said analyses. 

  • Provides significant analytical input into the strategy and scope of initiatives.



The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's [Required] in healthcare, accounting, finance or related

  • 2+ experience auditing EMR records [Required]

  • 2+ experience working in pharmacy data analytics [Preferred]

  • 5+ experience in a related field [Required]

  • Pharmacy Technician experience [Preferred]

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) [Required]
