Under supervision of the Director, provides clinical and administrative support to staff providing direct/indirect care to patients on a specific unit/units. Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the programmatic, operational and financial management of the unit/program, quality/safety, patient experience, financial management of the assigned unit. Interviews, hires, assigns work to and evaluates work performance of employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

With full isolation capabilities, cutting-edge monitoring, and a highly trained interdisciplinary team, we provide comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical treatment in a collaborative, family-centered environment.



  • Requires a BSN with an active FL RN license.
  • Minimum of 3 years working as an RN, including at least 2 years of recent experience in the PICU.

     

  • ECMO experience is highly preferred.
  • Must have leadership experience with a background in strategy, operations, clinical practice and finance.
