About the Role:
Tube Specialties is hiring a Calibration & Tool Crib Technician to manage, maintain, and calibrate the tools and measuring equipment that keep our aerospace manufacturing operation precise and audit-ready. If you're detail-oriented and comfortable working with micrometers, calipers, and gages, this role puts your skills to work every day.Â
Responsibilities:
- Issue, receive, and manage inventory of tools, gages, fixtures, and equipment
- Track calibration due dates and perform recalls to stay within required intervals
- Perform in-house calibration using established procedures and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records in our calibration/inventory system (Visual Quality)
- Coordinate with approved external calibration vendors as needed
- Inspect tools and gages before issuance and upon return for wear or damage
- Maintain calibration documentation in compliance with AS9100 standards
- Support internal and external audits with accurate equipment records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (Trade school/CCT certification or related degree preferred)
- 1+ year of experience in tool crib, calibration, or manufacturing quality
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges
- Familiarity with calibration/inventory software (Visual Manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- AS9100 or aerospace quality standards knowledge a plus
