Our welders / Fabricators can work in both shop and field settings. The Shop welders work mostly with aluminum and our field welders work to create, assemble, and install structures, components, and products such as frames, structural beams, gates, fences etc.    Responsibilities:   Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements. Weld metal parts using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) based on project needs. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Prepare, cut, and fit metal materials for welding, ensuring accuracy in measurements and alignment. Inspect completed work for defects or imperfections, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines. Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a thorough understanding of welding safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure quality control. Other duties as assigned by management  Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training in welding or metal fabrication is preferred. Proven experience as a welder/fabricator or in a similar role. Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) and familiarity with fabrication tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision work. Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to maintain a safe working environment. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and materials. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other workers and supervisors. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds Ability to work outside in direct sunlight Ability to navigate difficult terrain when necessary.
