X-Ray Technologist – Urgent Care | Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Schedule

Tired of being just a number at the hospital?

If you're an ARRT-certified tech looking for a place where your work actually gets noticed, where you're not stuck doing the same three exams all day, and where your schedule fits your life instead of the other way around, keep reading.

The Urgent Care is growing and we're hiring an X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This isn't a back-hallway imaging job. You'll be a core part of a small, tight clinical team that sees a little bit of everything, from sports injuries and fractures to lacerations and sick visits. Every shift is different, and you'll finish the day knowing exactly who you helped.

Why techs choose us?

  • Flexible scheduling. Full-time or part-time, and we work with you to build a schedule around your life. Weekend availability needed, but no overnight call, no 12-hour hospital grind.
  • Health, dental, and vision through BCBS, plus 401(k), life insurance, and short- and long-term disability.
  • Free medical care at our clinics for you and, after 90 days, your family too.
  • Holiday pay.
  • Variety and growth. Use your full skill set: imaging, labs, injections, splinting, EKGs, procedures. If you want to sharpen your MA skills, we'll train you.
  • A team that actually likes each other. Small clinics, fast pace, no drama. You'll work directly with our providers, not through three layers of management.
  • Three modern locations with x-ray capability, all within a short drive of each other.

What your day looks like

  • Perform diagnostic x-rays per provider orders and get high-quality images the first time
  • Verify patients and orders, explain the procedure, and keep patients comfortable and shielded
  • Document exams in the EMR
  • Room and triage patients, take vitals, and assist providers with labs, injections, vaccinations, and procedures
  • Help keep exam rooms, the lab, and the x-ray suite clean, stocked, and ready
  • Answer patient calls per protocol and help schedule check-in times when needed

What you need

  • Louisiana x-ray license, unrestricted
  • ARRT certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • EMR experience
  • Able to lift/move patients
  • BLS within 90 days of hire (we'll help you get it)
  • Able to travel between our Gretna, Mid-City, and Uptown clinics as needed

Nice to have (not required)

  • 5+ years radiology experience
  • Medical assistant experience: vitals, blood draws, injections, CLIA-waived testing, splinting
  • Bilingual in Spanish

New grads with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply.

Benefits:

  • Health Insurance (BCBS)
  • Dental Insurance (BCBS)
  • Vision Insurance (BCBS)
  • Retirement 401k
  • Life Insurance
  • Short/Long term disability
  • Medical stipend at clinic (includes family after 90 days)
  • Holiday Pay
