At Coulson Aviation, we operate, modify, and maintain a diverse fleet of specialized aircraft supporting aerial firefighting operations worldwide. Our fleet includes Cessna Citation 550 and 560 aircraft, Boeing 737 FIRELINERS™, C-130 Hercules, CH-47D Chinooks, and Sikorsky S-61 and S-76 helicopters. We operate across Canada, the United States, Australia, and Chile.

As our company and aircraft fleet continue to grow, we are looking for experienced A&P Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our Cessna Citation team.

This position follows a rotational work schedule, allowing employees to live anywhere in the United States and travel to the work location for their scheduled rotations. Company-paid travel and a daily per diem are provided.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and servicing on aircraft within the scope of your qualifications and licence.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical and hydraulic systems, identify defects, and complete adjustments or repairs using approved technical data and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
  • Assist with planning and carrying out heavy maintenance projects and aircraft checks.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, avionics, and structures teams to support an efficient workflow during heavy checks.
  • Inspect and document completed maintenance in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete worksheets, technical logs, tracking updates, and other required maintenance records accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized aircraft and work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate for licensed positions.
  • Relevant aircraft-maintenance education, training, and experience for apprentice or technician positions.
  • At least two years of experience maintaining Citation business jets or comparable aircraft is preferred.
  • Experience working on Cessna Citation 550 or 560 aircraft is strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting abilities.
  • The ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing accurate maintenance records.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with maintenance, avionics, structures, and quality teams.
  • A dependable, adaptable, and safety-focused approach to aircraft maintenance.

The following qualifications and experience would be considered assets:

  • Completion of a Cessna Citation type course.
  • Previous heavy-maintenance or heavy-check experience.
  • Experience using the Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP).
