CNC Programmer

Arnold Machine Inc., Tiffin, OH is a full-service designer and manufacturer of high quality, innovative automated equipment. Arnold Machine, Inc. is a team of experienced engineers and machine tradesmen that can design and build virtually any type of customized automated equipment. We are currently seeking an experienced machinist for our CNC Programmer position with the eagerness to learn the programming software to support our growing activity in equipment manufacturing. The position requires the ability to program CNC mills from prints and print data to machine precision parts.

Responsibilities: 

• Identify CAM programmable parts while sorting through the machining project prints.
• Program CNC Press Brake and Laser
• Ability to upload part solids and part data from engineering files.
• Proper tool selection, part options, feed and speed selections to efficiently program parts.
• Collaborates with other team members for programming needs.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating work with other team members.
• Ability to work on multiple projects as well as be a member of a cross functional team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members.

Requirements:

• Machining and sheet metal experience
• Knowledge of CNC milling setups, proper tool selection, and proper feeds and speeds.
• Working knowledge of machining processes to manufacture machined parts efficiently.
• Experience with 5-axis programming a plus.
• Knowledge in Gibbs CAM and Trumpf Boost software a plus.
• General knowledge of sheet metal processes to program a Laser and Press Brake a plus.
• Willingness to learn and desire to contribute as part of a dynamic and productive team.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Good computer skills.
