Job summary/Objective of Job
The Material Handler is responsible for providing excellent service to walk in Customers, freight truck drivers, and wraps and locates units in a timely manner. A successful candidate must have outstanding customer service skills and a positive can-do attitude. They also must be a self-motivated, self-directed team player with social interaction skills, great communication with other team members great attention to detail, can follow processes and work well within guidelines and procedures.Â
 Summary of essential job functions:
- Monitors emails for sold units that need to be pulled and staged for pickup.
- Safely operate the forklift to pull down or put away product.
- When Stock units arrive, checks over the product to insure there is no damage and put them on the shelf with a location scanned with the scanner.
- Alerts W1 if damage product arrives and notes the freight bill properly.
- Makes sure the correct product is loaded on the correct truck when freight drivers arrive for pickup.
- Sweeping and cleaning the unit warehouse in free time.
- Must be able to operate a pickup and box truckÂ
- Chauffeur’s license
QualificationsÂ
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Accuracy in a fast-paced environment requiredÂ
- Strong math and computer skills
- Ability to break through barriers and investigate and resolve problems
- Possess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or moreÂ
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain
