Procurement Coordinator

Why You’ll Love This Role: 

• You will be responsible for partnering with commodities managers to ensure effective and efficient procurement activities in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”  

What You’ll Do: 

• Deliver comprehensive administrative and commercial support across the procurement team
• Coordinate procurement-related queries, documentation, registers and filing system
• Work within the Procurement team, liaising with Commodity Managers as needed for commercial support and supplier engagement
• Assist in the development of sound relationships with suppliers
• Raise purchase order requests
• Compile, publish and analyze reports as and when requested
• Attend meetings and take minutes as and when required
• Maintain and keep up to date data in systems and Excel
• Support with the creation of department presentations for wider distribution, when required

Who We’re Looking For: 

• High school diploma 
• Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs 
• Team oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems
• Bonus points for a Associates or Bachelors Degree

Location & Schedule: 

This is an onsite role in Torrance, CA and the schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4pm or Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm.

The starting pay range for this position is between $25 - 30 per hour plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
