We are looking for a Production Planner to help support that mission.     JOB SUMMARY                                                                              This planning position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. Production planners, also known as production schedulers, are responsible for the smooth running of production within the manufacturing industry. They ensure that products are produced in a cost-effective way that meets quality and customer specifications, and that they are ready to distribute in a timely fashion. Production planners use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), a software system that manages a company's operations, to improve efficiency and productivity. They use it to interpret demand, assess material availability, and redesign processes.    RESPONSIBILITIES  Ordering materials  Monitoring scheduling timelines  Managing employees  Analyzing production delays  Managing material and equipment availability  Scheduling production  Monitoring the production process for problems  Planning and organizing production workflow for one or more products  Reviewing and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay  Organizing the distribution of goods and materials    Benefits  Competitive Pay  Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance  401k with company match  Paid Time Off   Training & Professional Development  Positive and productive work environment    QUALIFICATIONS  High school diploma or equivalent required, Degree in supply chain management, business management or related field is preferred  Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous  1- 3 years proven experience working as a production planner in a continuous flow operation  Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications  Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  Excellent organizational and time management skills  Effective communication skills  Work Conditions Physical Demands / Work Environment This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs throughout the workday. The role frequently requires pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Work is performed in both manufacturing and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, dust, noise, moving equipment, and other industrial conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
