Function
To recruit, interview and screen job candidates for exempt and non-exempt (temp and perm) positions and to ensure company compliance with all employment related laws.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously sourcing / interviewing and building candidate pipelines for exempt and non-exempt positions. 
  • Works via social media to place open positions and to promote RS Americas as an employer of choice.
  • Prepares job profiles and writes advertisements for permanent and temporary positions.
  • Develops or updates job descriptions (with assistance of People Business Partner).
  • Establish varied sources of recruiting methods.
  • Posts job opportunities internally and externally.
  • Attends job fairs and college recruiting fairs.
  • Sets-up interview panels and provides panel and supervisors with interview questions.
  • Maintain Recruiting steps in ATS. 
  • Reviews the hiring processes to ensure all equal employment opportunity legislation is met.
  • Assists with the annual Affirmative Action plans.
  • Assists with annual EEO reporting requirements.
  • Assists with compliance of all employment related laws and regulations.
  • Other HR related duties.

 

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate use of Word with some Excel.
  • Ability to understand complex assignments.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative issues in the employment area.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Prefer (but not required) a four year degree in Business or related field.  Some college required.
  • Requires three to four years of recruiting experience.
