Schedule / Expected Work Hours

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Occasional overtime or limited on-call rotation during busy seasons.

Job Summary

Airco Service Company is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to support our growing residential and light commercial service team. In this role, you’ll perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing systems while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential & light commercial plumbing

• Install and troubleshoot water heaters, faucets, toilets & fixtures

• Diagnose leaks, clogs, drainage issues, and system failures

• Read and interpret basic plumbing drawings and job specifications

• Cut, measure, solder, press, thread, and assemble piping systems

• Perform pressure testing and ensure code-compliant installations

• Communicate clearly with customers and provide service recommendations

• Maintain clean job sites and follow Airco safety protocols

• Document materials, work completed, and job notes

• Assist or mentor plumbing apprentices as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Journeyman Plumber License

• 3–5+ years residential or light commercial plumbing experience

• Ability to diagnose issues and perform accurate, safe repairs

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation

$45.00–$60.00 per hour, depending on experience, licensing, and technical capability.
Overtime opportunities available.
