Position Summary:

Manages inventory items and day-to-day inventory operations.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Cycle count program - including full count analysis, reconciliation and count variance reporting for raw materials inventory, line stock inventory, WIP inventory on the production floor and finished goods  
  • Develops reports and procedures for inventory monitoring and control. 
  • Maintains cycle count records for review by management and provides reports related to cycle count activity. 
  • Develops data-driven business processes that will drive inventory accuracy. 
  • Monitors cycle count program to ensure consistency and accuracy and identify operational issues in inventory.  
  • Audits inventory movement processes and identify inconsistencies that affect inventory accuracy.
  • Identifies and advises root causes of inventory discrepancies and proposes corrective actions. 
  • Analyzes inventory requirements/trends to ensure efficient inventory levels. 
  • Manages and approves inventory adjustment requests. 
  • Identifies areas of improvement and establishes new SOP’s. 
  • Performs periodic analysis and updates material ABC identifiers. 
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for ERP system. 
  • Participates in continuous improvement projects in ERP. 

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems; Infor experience preferred.  
  • Expert-level Excel skills.  
  • Experience developing and maintaining KPI dashboards.  


 

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience


Experience: 

2+ years of experience in inventory management


Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
