About your RoleÂ
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will manage an assigned caseload, providing direct patient care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and prescribing and monitoring medication. You will work primarily from our Arizona office locations, with the option of Telehealth for some patients. In addition, you will provide oversight to medical assistants, participate in treatment planning, case consultation, staffing, and document client interactions to ensure progress towards goals. You will be expected to address client clinical needs during regular workday hours and take part in a rotational on-call schedule (typically one week a month). After-hours calls are rare.Â

ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication managementÂ
- Oversee medical assistants and support staffÂ
- Participate in treatment planning and clinical consultationsÂ
- Provide psychiatric consultation to caregivers and cliniciansÂ
- Manage high acuity patients and effect behavior changesÂ
- Stay current with diagnostic and treatment changes/modalitiesÂ
- Participate in team supervision and maintain licensureÂ
- Advocate for the client’s psychiatric needsÂ

Required QualificationsÂ
- PMHNP-BC (Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified) license in ArizonaÂ
- MSN or DNP in nursing
- CPR/First Aid certifiedÂ
- Valid Arizona driver's license (must be unrestricted)Â
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)Â
