Overview

Under general supervision of the Applications Manager, serves as a technical expert in at least one organizational area of application support and development.  Reviews, analyzes and modifies application systems to support the organization’s multi-platform technical environment.  Coordinate efforts for system and user administration to ensure the reliability, availability, integrity and security of data of IT infrastructure.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related field.
  • Three years coordinating technical projects and administering major business applications or systems experience in the Casino / Hospitality industry.
  • One year previous application administration experience in one of the following organizational areas: Casino Operations, Resort Operations, and/or Finance, required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
  • Organizational areas of application support are comprised of Gaming, Hospitality, Back of House (BOH), and Database Analytics. This position is focused on Gaming application support.  Applicant experience preferred in working with Konami, CashTrac, Everi, Adept, Global Payments, and other ancillary Gaming applications.
  • Experience working with the following systems, or similar thereof preferred: Synkros, Casino Insight, Everi Cash Club, VIP Lightspeed, Everi PKMS, Everi xChange Explorer, and Adept AMDS.
  • Strong project management skills. Certification in project management preferred.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft applications and software.
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
  • Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
  • Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:

  • Develops support documentation for IT personnel and maintains security and integrity of all assigned application systems and information.
  • Annually reviews application securities, with organizational key operators, and submits security template modifications to the Technical Services Director for processing.
  • Serves as project manager for assigned business application installations, upgrades, and/or modifications.
  • Develops and/or modifies business systems based on identified user needs, program functions, and required processes.
  • Evaluates existing business application systems effectiveness and capabilities of to ensure adherence with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Researches & recommends new information systems.
  • Responsible for all business application maintenance as identified by manufacturer/vendor including updates, patches, upgrades, and backup/recovery of system, applications, and data.
  • Prepares time and cost estimates for all assigned projects.
  • Maintains proficiency in field of expertise by remaining knowledgeable and current with assigned application’s hardware and software.
  • Evaluates and coordinates the organization’s application system training needs.
  • Coordinates regularly scheduled Key Operator meetings with organizational staff, maintaining minutes and documentation related to meetings.
  • Takes proactive steps to achieve 100% uptime to ensure all business applications are available when needed.
  • Reviewing of all support and maintenance agreements to ensure they are fair and appropriate for the organization.
  • Adheres to all communicated project milestones and deadlines and all IT internal controls and standard operating procedures.
  • Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement.
  • Greets guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Gives basic instruction on all promotions and special events, as requested.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations.
  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

GUEST SERVICE:

  • Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating all guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.
  • Cooperates and communicates with all employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image and attitude.
  • Monitors production and service levels by interacting with guest and staff

COMMUNICATION:

  • Ensures company information provided by management is effectively communicated to assigned staff and ensures staff concerns, request for information, and ideas for improvement are effectively relayed to management.
  • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the area of responsibility by presiding over scheduled meetings with staff and team members as required.
  • Stays informed of company information and communications by reviewing all e-mails, digital boards and SharePoint.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:

  • Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, ONGR, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act. 

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of NIGC MICS, ONGC Regulations, departmental, and organizational policy and procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer/computational science, data analysis, and programming technologies, concepts, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of a specific area of science, engineering, and/or technology.
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, principles, and practices; computer operations and user environments; and Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to specify and develop computer programs using a range of programming languages.
  • Ability to develop, implement, install, test, and troubleshoot complex applications software
  • Ability to record, track, correspond, and document resolution of user problems by means of problem reporting database software.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation for training, software/hardware use, user procedures, and as-required project deliverables.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
