How you'll make an impact in this role
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the hemodialysis process, directly improving patient well-being and outcomes.
- Maintain and operate dialysis equipment with precision, helping to deliver life-sustaining treatments to individuals with kidney failure.
- Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, contributing to a supportive healthcare team and effective patient care.
- Educate and support patients and their families about the dialysis process, empowering them with knowledge and reassurance.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Hemodialysis Tech credentialed from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) obtained within 18 Months (1.5 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:Â
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
- CCHT Certification strongly preferredÂ
- Empathetic communication, strong attention to detail and time management skills
