Job Description

The TransFund Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for working directly with new clients to provide marketing support as they launch their debit and credit card programs. Additionally, this role works with internal and external resources on creating, developing and implementing marketing projects for current clients, creating turnkey marketing campaigns, managing the implementation of school cards, full-service credit programs, client sweepstakes, statement messages, insert inventory and card designs. This role works with the marketing team to ensure marketing materials are up to date and available for client and sales use, coordinating the printing, digital distribution and placement in various mediums.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will develop and support marketing plans while managing projects to successful completion.
• You will coordinate the creation and distribution of promotional materials for financial institution clients.
• You will partner with external vendors to manage messaging, inventory, and client-related needs.
• You will oversee creative traffic flow and card inventory processes for client marketing initiatives.
• You will collaborate with internal teams to produce marketing tools for sales and targeted campaigns.
• You will assist clients with sweepstakes, school card programs, and provide guidance to junior consultants.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in financial services marketing or equivalent work experience of 6+ years. Marketing experience in the financial industry is highly preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of sales promotion activities.
• Thorough knowledge of promotional materials, both print and digital.
• Ability to coordinate many high priority activities with multiple priorities.
• Advanced project planning/management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills with ability to prepare and deliver presentations for clients and executive management.
• Thorough knowledge of PC software tools to include PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, and some marketing software tools.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects from start to finish.
• Creative thinker who can apply strategic goals to outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details.
