Moore Digital Print and Mail Center-Tulsa is seeking an experienced and dependable Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

The Production Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership to production employees, coordinate workflow and staffing, monitor quality and productivity, and work closely with management and other departments to meet daily production goals.

Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of assigned production operations during their shift. This position ensures that production goals related to safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery are consistently achieved. The Production Supervisor serves as the primary frontline leader for production team members and plays a critical role in driving accountability, operational excellence, and employee engagement. This role requires strong operational oversight, hands-on leadership, workforce planning, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The Production Supervisor is expected to lead by example, maintain high visibility on the production floor, and proactively address operational and employee-related matters.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises all employees on their shift

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure schedules, and internal deadlines are met.
  • Review production schedules and adjust staffing and workflow as needed to meet volume demands.
  • Monitor throughput, spoilage, downtime, rework, and labor efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks and escalate equipment or resource issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate job documentation and completion tracking in production systems.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules based on the needs of the business
  • Enforce safety policies
  • Conduct regular safety observations and address unsafe behaviors immediately.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and partner with HR on documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including attendance, conduct, and security procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications and do spot check audits
  • Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in production performance review meetings with management.
  • Conduct daily shift huddles to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across shifts and departments.
  • Address employee concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Recognize strong performance and reinforce positive behaviors.
  • Support company engagement initiatives and morale-building efforts.
  • All other duties assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • A High School graduate or GED preferred
  • 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing, print, mail, fulfillment, or warehouse production environment preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-shift operations a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS (UKG) and production tracking systems a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Majority of time spent on the production floor.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to industrial noise, moving machinery, and production conditions.
  • May require overtime and schedule flexibility based on production demands.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facility
  • Required to grip twist and turn both hands for long periods of time

 

Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
