As an ECB (Emergency Call Basis) Surgery Tech, you will work a minimum of 24 hrs. per month Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 5:00p. 

The Certified Surgery Tech holds a safety sensitive position and provides aid in functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient.  He/she understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.  He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.

  • What’s required of you? Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. Certified Surgical Techs require certification through NBSTA upon hire. Current BLS certification required upon hire.  
  • Do I need experience? No experience required! 
  • Specialty Knowledge Skills: Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current Surgical and Sterile procedures that are unit/age specific.
