We are looking for a dynamic Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team! The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will lead and coordinate cybersecurity accreditation efforts, partnering with Project Teams, the Services, Operations & Delivery Teams, and customers to manage requirements, timelines, documentation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience with system architecture and design, communicating and collaborating across technical teams, project and operations teams, and senior stakeholders, with strong organizational and program management skills. This individual will be responsible for tracking the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity accreditation processes, ensuring requirements, milestones, deliverables, and implementation activities remain aligned with project objectives and timelines. 

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with Project Teams, the Services, Operations, and Delivery Teams and customers to coordinate technical and security tasks required for accreditation are completed
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert to provide guidance on cybersecurity accreditation processes, DevSecOps, and Federal compliance requirements
  • Communicate regularly with teams and customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and address questions
  • Understand the detailed steps and engagement points of the DoD Risk Management Framework and FedRAMP accreditation processes
  • Understand the software DevSecOps process and articulate what infrastructure, software and approval processes are required to successfully implement a software solution in multiple environments
  • Organize, track, and report on the execution of each project cybersecurity accreditation process timeline
  • Identify potential issues or blockers early and work with the team to resolve them before they impact the project
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or higher is required
  • Certified Information Security System Professional (CISSP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
  • Experience working as an ISSO, ISSM, or in a similar role supporting PaaS/SaaS solutions through the DoD RMF process
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with program management, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level communication
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams

The annual salary range for this role is $125,000.00 - $190,000.00 Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline.
