Overview

Responsible for electrical maintenance in the Melt Shop working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift. 

Responsibilities

• Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and installation of new electrical equipment.
• Assist millwrights and operators with daily maintenance work.

Qualifications

Required

• At least 3 years working as an electrician or electronics technician in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s, and Rockwell Software
• Experience with low, medium, and high voltage equipement
• Understanding of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. 

Preferred

• Robotic experience (ABB preferred)
• Formal industrial electrical, and automation training
• Skilled at problem solving and troubleshooting electrical equipment
