Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and veterinary technicians to provide excellent patient care. Responsibilities may include:
Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments, treatments, and procedures
Safely restrain and handle patients for examinations and treatments
Obtain patient histories and assist with room appointments
Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
Assist with surgical preparation and patient recovery
Collect laboratory samples and assist with in-house diagnostic testing
Perform venipuncture and assist with IV catheter placement based on experience
Assist with digital radiographs and other diagnostics
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under veterinary supervision
Provide attentive care to hospitalized patients
Communicate with clients regarding basic patient care and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient information and treatment documentation
Clean, disinfect, and maintain patient care and treatment areas
Support your teammates and help maintain an efficient hospital workflow
What We're Looking For
1–2+ years of veterinary assistant or veterinary hospital experience preferred
Comfortable with animal restraint and hands-on patient care
Previous experience with blood draws, laboratory samples, treatments, or surgical assistance is highly preferred
Strong communication and client service skills
Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-focused environment
Dependable, compassionate, and willing to jump in wherever needed
Eager to learn and continue developing veterinary clinical skills
Willingness to work rotating Saturday shifts
Experience with surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, or large animals is a plus
