The role

Schedule

  • Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating, two-week cycle

Position Summary

Supports production operations through mold changes, material handling, color changeovers, and troubleshooting. Ensures equipment, materials, and processes are running efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mold changes, inspections, and production line setup

  • Manage material handling, labeling, and storage compliance

  • Execute color/material changeovers and ensure line clearance

  • Troubleshoot machine alarms and support production uptime

  • Assist with automation repairs, IML changeovers, and basic hydraulic fixes

  • Support production start-ups, shutdowns, and packaging activities as needed

  • Maintain clean, safe work areas and complete required documentation

  • Follow all GMP, food safety (SQF), and company procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Manufacturing or mold technician experience a plus

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic knowledge of production processes and equipment

  • Solid math skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and working on production equipment

  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs

  • Comfortable working at heights and using hand tools

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to complete safety training (forklift, Lockout/Tagout, etc.)

  • Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork

  • Ability to make quick decisions in time-sensitive situations
