Job Summary
Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking a highly motivated Colorectal Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers the opportunity to provide premier care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, postoperative management, consultations, and followup care. Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
- Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
- Familiar with EHR/EMR software.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
REQUIRED:
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
- Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
PREFERRED:
- Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
