Urology NP/PA

Job Summary

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urology team. This full-time position will provide the opportunity to offer comprehensive urologic care across both inpatient, and outpatient settings. Responsibilities will include patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, consultations, follow up care, and coordination with the urology team. This position includes rotating hospital coverage allowing for further collaboration with MVHS’s experienced and multidisciplinary team. Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:    

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas. 
• Familiar with EHR/EMR software.   

Licensure/Certification Requirements

REQUIRED:    

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED:

• Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
