Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role ensures that every guest experiences a comfortable, safe, and inviting stay.Â
Responsibilities
•    Clean and service guest rooms according to departmental standards, including:Â
o    Vacuuming, dusting, wiping, and polishing surfaces.Â
o    Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, showers, and toilets.Â
o    Changing linens, making beds, and replenishing amenities.Â
o    Removing trash and maintaining room organization and presentation.Â
•    Ensure all assigned rooms meet cleanliness and inspection standards before guest entry.Â
•    Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.Â
•    Make rollaway beds and deliver additional items as requested.Â
•    Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items promptly.Â
•    Complete deep-cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.Â
•    Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping cards, supply closets, and equipment.Â
•    Update room status and receive assignments using departmental communication tools or mobile devices (if applicable).Â
•    Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
•    Participate in required safety and training programs.Â

Qualifications
•    Housekeeping or environmental service experience preferred.Â
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.Â
•    Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.Â
•    Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Â
•    Ability to follow instructions, respond to feedback, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.Â
•    Ability to read, write and communicate in English is preferred.Â
•    Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts based on business needsÂ
•    Overtime or additional hours may be required during high-volume periods.Â

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
•    Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.Â
•    Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.Â
•    Ability to maneuver through crowded casino areas and climb stairs as needed.Â
•    Must be able to work in environments that may include:Â
o    Exposure to secondary smokeÂ
o    High heat (exceeding 85 F)Â
o    Cold temperatures (as low as 60 F)
•    Ability to tolerate cleaning chemicalsÂ
•    Ability to read and follow instructions on chemical labels and cleaning equipment.Â
•    Continuous use of hands, finger movement, and wrist motion while cleaning.Â
