Position Summary
1st Shift: 7AM - 3PM
Â
The Operator is responsible for safely operating multiple pieces of equipment on a liquid filling production line. This role supports production through equipment setup and changeovers, preventive maintenance, quality verification, accurate documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. The Operator plays a key role in ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.Â
Responsibilities
Safely set up, operate, monitor, and change over liquid filling line equipment to meet production requirements.Â
Understand and speak to production flow, processes, and performance metrics.Â
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on assigned equipment.Â
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and clearly communicate equipment issues to the Line Lead and/or Maintenance.Â
Ensure that the production line is adequately supplied to meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Â
Conduct and document required quality checks using established measuring techniques and standards.Â
Maintain work areas and tools in accordance with Visual Management and 5S standards, identifying and correcting abnormalities.Â
Maintain accurate and complete production, quality, and safety records.Â
Adhere to all safety requirements, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out (LOTO), pinch point awareness, and PPE usage.Â
Follow written and visual instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work.Â
Participate in safety, cost, quality, productivity, and Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement initiatives.Â
Assist in training and onboarding of other colleagues as assigned.Â
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.Â
We we are looking for
High School Diploma or GED OR 0–2 years of manufacturing or mechanical experience.Â
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.Â
Good verbal and written communication skills, including use of two‑way radios.Â
Ability to follow, apply, and improve standard work procedures.Â
Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.Â
Attention to detail and the ability to meet critical deadlines.Â
Basic computer skills for production reporting and machine monitoring.Â
TPM/Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.Â
SAP experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs; push and pull up to 40 lbs.Â
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Â
Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, twisting, climbing, pulling, pushing, and lifting.Â
Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.Â

Total Rewards Package
The pay rate for this position is up to USD $20.60/Hr. per hour
