The Role
Work Model: Onsite
Work Schedule: Generally 40 hours per week, with overtime required as scheduled.

Summary / Primary Role
The Receiving Specialist II verifies and maintains records on incoming shipments. This role is responsible for receiving and unpacking materials, verifying and recording incoming merchandise, preparing shipment documentation, checking products for damage or discrepancies, and supporting the receiving operation as needed.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to support receiving operations, accurately process incoming materials, maintain shipment records, and help ensure products are properly received, documented, labeled, and routed.
Receiving & Shipment Verification
• Examine shipment contents and compare them with manifests, invoices, orders, and other records to verify accuracy.
• Receive materials and enter information into customer systems such as SAP or WhiBoard.
• Receive material in the P21 system and maintain accurate receiving records.
• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
Documentation, Labeling & Quality Checks
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route material.
• Check products for damage or issues and take pictures of damaged products when applicable.
• Print labels and relabel products when applicable.
• Support accurate and timely handling of incoming materials.
Team Support & Operations
• Assist with other areas in the department as needed.
• Assist Receiving Specialist I with receiving products when needed.
• Support a safe, accurate, and productive warehouse/production environment.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge preferred.
• Food Safety and Defense / HACCP knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to work with a barcode scanner preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
• Punctuality, reliability, personal accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Success Measures
• Accurate and timely receipt and recording of incoming materials.
• Accurate shipment documentation and system entries.
• Proper identification and reporting of damaged products and discrepancies.
• Effective teamwork and reliable support of receiving and department operations.
Compensation & Schedule Details
Base Pay Range: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour
Associate must work a minimum of 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes; however, the expectations of the position require an average of 40 hours with overtime required as scheduled.

Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse/production environment with exposure to airborne particles such as dust, shavings, odor and fumes, temperature and noise fluctuations, and varying vibration levels. The role routinely uses barcode readers, scanning devices, computers, label-making software, and supply chain software.
Physical Demands
The employee must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language and effectively communicate with others via phone. The role requires the ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, and pinch; operate equipment such as a pallet jack; and frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch as needed. The position requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
