The Human Resources Coordinator provides day-to-day operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, with primary responsibility for recruiting coordination, onboarding support, employee records and HRIS administration, LMS training administration, employee engagement, and payroll support.

The HR Coordinator serves as an important point of contact for candidates, employees, and leaders and is responsible for ensuring HR processes and employee data are accurate, timely, organized, confidential, and consistently executed. The role partners closely with the HR team and site leadership to support an effective employee experience and the workforce needs of the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, job postings, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records, candidate information, and recruitment-related documentation.
  • Coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, hiring events, and related logistics.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background screening, drug testing, employment eligibility documentation, and other required pre-hire activities.  
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics, including schedules, documentation, orientation, and required resources.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to support a consistent and positive new hire experience.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Process routine employee changes and provide administrative support for HR programs, reporting, and projects.
  • Administer the LMS training database, including course assignments, enrollments, completion tracking, and training records.
  • Maintain accurate training data and provide reports as needed.
  • Support employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives.
  • Provide coordination, communication, scheduling, and administrative support for employee experience programs.
  • Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes by reviewing employee data, identifying discrepancies, processing approved changes, and assisting with resolution of routine payroll/timekeeping issues.
  • Support transfers, promotions, status changes, leaves, and terminations from an administrative/process standpoint.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support for department-wide HR initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling payroll and employee information.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, payroll, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and/or learning management systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
