Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state license in good standing
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including ADLs, daily routines, play, and feeding
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift up to 45 lbs
  • Adequate vision and hearing for written and verbal communication
  • Comfort working in an environment with moderate noise levels

Your role as an Occupational Therapist

As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will:

  • Design and administer treatment programs to increase independence in ADLs, routines, play, and feeding
  • Make cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed
  • Address executive functioning, attention, and fine/gross motor coordination
  • Create home programs and coach families to implement them
  • Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric specialists for coordinated care
  • Maintain detailed progress notes and adjust treatment plans as needed
