  • Identify opportunities for employee development and/or improvement and facilitate coaching, training, and resources.
  • Collaborate with department management team to ensure departmental and workflows are accurate, up-to-date support efficient, effective and optimal clinic operations.
  • Assist departmental management team with monitoring and evaluating the clinical services and quality of services provided within the clinic.
  • Support management in identifying areas for improvement and implementing quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Support the continuity of care by promoting quality of care with cost effective outcomes and ensures patient concerns and complaints are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Track departmental key performance indicators (KPI) and report findings to management on a monthly basis
  • Manage departmental inventory of medical and medication supplies and submit supply orders as needed to ensure that adequate levels of supplies is maintained for assigned clinics.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to departmental clinical staff and ensure that staff have adequate resources available.
  • Provide coverage of Certified Medical Assistant responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $34.50 and $36.00/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma and equivalent.
  • Education: Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certification: Certified Medical Assistant certificate required within 60 days of hire.
  • Experience: 3 years of medical assistant/certified medical assistant experience and 1 year of leadership/management experience.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Skills: Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications/software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Excel) and other computer software/applications.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with individuals within all levels of the organization, patients, patient family members, providers, vendors and others.
  • Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
  • BLS: BLS required within 60 days of hire.
  • Driving: Current California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance coverage.
